reference 3
(1)
This image is taken from a project called the Water tank project by word above the street.

Intent- Send a message about the world wide water crisis.
Content- A global Art campaign, involving painting water tanks
communication objective- there is a problem with the distribution of water
How they communicate the intent
- large pieces of art, painted onto water tanks around the world
- the illustrations obviously display a message about the lack of clean drinking water in third world countries.
- done on such a vast scale more likely to raise awareness.
- painting are bright and obvious so people can't miss them

  • Over summer I will use this starting point to inspire my project
  • I like the way they are creating Art directly onto the problem, this is a great way to raise awareness

  • Over summer I will create some large scale pieces of work, as it grabs people's attention and creates a bigger statement
  • I will look into how I can project my work, and turn and perhaps turn it into a video so that my illustrations can be viewed world-wide.
  • One of my ideas for my final major project is to create a slide show of my paintings and project them onto a wall while my poem is played in spoken word.
  • I Think creating work that is on a larger scale is good if you want to make a statement.
