Week 7- Ideas of intent for major project

In preparation for this week we had to have some thought on what we wanted to investigate in our final major project.
I decided I wanted to investigate messages within Art. To do this I would like to write a poem which questions issues in society- such as class divide and create several illustrations related to the poem.

Within the lecture he gave us this hand out 

After looking at the hand out, we had to discuss our ideas for out final major project.

My idea
I wish to create a poem based on problems surrounding class divide and then produce a stream of illustrations reflecting the ideas in the poem. I want to send a message to the audience, and make them question the way society works. I am considering turning the poem into a spoken word recorded performance, throughout which I will display my work on a projector.

We were then told to find several diverse starting point to express our ideas.
