Storyboards-

What is the reference point?
A story board for the film North by Northwest, about a man stood on the side of a road waiting to meet somebody. Satrts to talk to a man who is waiting for the bus. the bus arrives, the man leaves and the other man is alone again.

How does it work?
- simple layout- easy to follow
- realistic setting
- various angles- to keep the setting interesting
- the story board is much more detailed and exaggerated, whereas the film clips are more precise

What does it make you feel/think?
- curiosity- who is he waiting to meet?
- danger- the plane is a threat
What is the general intent?
To amuse/ entertain, record, intrigue, engage, fascinate and puzzle

Below are some observational drawing I did whilst at the beach, I based my storyboarding experiment around these images.
